Our Story

In the summer of 2011, a young Army Ranger was killed in Afghanistan while serving on his 8th deployment as a member of the elite 75th Ranger Regiment. When he was killed his son was 6 months old and his wife lost the love of her life. She also lost her financial stability and was immediately pushed into the reality of raising and supporting her family all on her own.

Years later, Rangers that served with her husband started a company and made a promise to her that they would add $3 to every widget they built. In the beginning it wasn’t a lot of money but over time the company grew and so did their ability to provide financial support to the gold star family. The Rangers ran with this concept of supporting a Goldstar family for several years until the tragic events of November, 2023 when a MH-60 helicopter went down over the Mediterranean during a refueling mission. Similar to the Ranger that was lost in 2011 the pilot of the MH-60 left behind a young family. At that moment a question was asked, can we help support that family as well?

These tragedies and the responsibility to forever care for the families of the fallen is the foundation that the Task Force is being built upon. It is our mission to establish a national network of patriotic companies that are committed to financially supporting the families of the fallen.
